Break the chains of servitude
This is an unusual, anonymous poster from the early Sixties.
In the powerful, yet simply stylized image above, we see a black, an Asian, and a white worker depicted in true revolutionary posture joined in international brotherhood and solidarity. This poster calls for a workers' revolution. A transracial, anti-capitalist theme promotes workers' rights and opposition to the exploitation of the working class, no matter what the skin colour. It is an interesting voice of those times.
A globe of the world is rendered on the upper left, positioned where the artist may well have wryly intended; an outline of a heart joins the workers in a bond of fraternal love and affection as they wield well-depicted sledge hammers to shatter the chains that bind them.
